Advance Notice: End of Support for Virtuozzo and OpenVZ

OpenVZ_end

We’ll be ending support for Virtuozzo and OpenVZ on August 1st, 2019.

We are strongly committed to delivering top-end support for all our customers. However, Virtuozzo and OpenVZ are no longer widely used by our customers. That’s why we have decided to stop supporting Virtuozzo and OpenVZ.

The latest version of the distribution will be still available in our repository, but we will no longer update it starting from August 1st, 2019.

Please review the CloudLinux documentation Installation section to discover installation possibilities on virtual machines and clouds.

I think it's a terrible situation, since we OpenVz now have to see how to move to KVM without affecting the hundreds of VPS we handle ... it would really be useful if your desire is to set aside OpenVZ give a complete guide how to migrate to KVM. ..

Hi Ricardo,
We will prepare a complete KVM migration instruction. Also, I'd like to mention that the current functions for OVZ will work the same as before and we expect that our clients will use our migration instruction.
We are working on that task right now, please follow our updates. We will be providing complete OVZ support for as long as all our clients will successfully migrate to KVM.

I appreciate your response, I will be very attentive to the documentation for a successful migration to KVM, since I have several clients that handle Cloudlinux and I am very concerned about the issue.
