We are happy to announce that mod_lsapi after long preparations moved to production. mod_lsapi stable version was increased up to 1.0-1.

What is mod_lsapi?

mod_lsapi is the Apache module based on LiteSpeed Technologies API for PHP, Ruby and Python. It is a drop-in replacement for SuPHP, FCGID, RUID2, and ITK, has a low memory footprint and understands PHP directives from .htaccess files. It also supports PHP accelerators. It is fully compatible with PHP Selector, which allows end users to select the specific version of PHP they need. It has suPHP like mechanism using of couple PHP versions without PHP Selector and many other useful things.

How to install/update module?

To update previously installed module just run:

cPanel & RPM Based:

$ yum update liblsapi liblsapi-devel

$ yum update mod_lsapi

$ service httpd restart


$ yum update liblsapi liblsapi-devel

$ cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild

$ ./build update

$ ./build mod_lsapi

For installation follow the instructions:

NOTE. If you are updating from ancient versions (for example 0.1-100) on cPanel server, please make sure that AddHandler and AddHandler are uncommented in lsapi.con file, or simply run enable-global:

switch_mod_lsapi --enable-global
