Getting started with KuberDock

 

Managing users in KuberDock is performed via the web interface.

Log in to KuberDock as admin.

Open the Administration section and choose Users.

Click Create user.

Specify all the information you need about the user in addition to the username, password and e-mail.

Select the user`s role in Role field. There are four different roles to choose from:

  • Admin – has administrator level access rights;
  • User - is a standard user which is able to create/edit/delete his own pods;
  • Limited User - is a User without the capability of creating and editing pods; only starting up the Predefined Applications;
  • Trial User - cannot utilize more than 10 Kubes of resources;

In Package field choose a package that is configured in your billing system or choose "Standard package".

In Status field select the user status which can be one of:

  • Active - if user is enabled in KuberDock;
  • Locked - if the user is disabled. In this case, his pods are stopped, public IP`s are unallocated, persistent volumes are deleted and he cannot log in to KuberDock web interface;
  • Suspended -to stop user`s services. Users with this status cannot start new pods or have other services added;

When done, click "Create".

Now, let’s log in as a newly created user in order to check the newly created account.
