Hi all,

I’m a total server newbie (always used a managed service before now) - I’m using aws and I’ve got imunify360 and CSF protecting my server.

We get a lot of traffic from schools and universities - which from my understand would be 100s of computers with the same IP hitting my server - and I wondered if this could look like a ddos attack to imunify360/CSF???

Is there any special settings to set with the school/uni situation in mind?

Thanks so much for any help!

Hello Lee,
Thank you for reaching out! Yes, this can be taken for DoS. Each client can configure DoS protection settings or if these are specific IP addresses or range, then generally add them to the whitelist. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask here. Thank you for contacting us.
