The guys at our datacenter just told me
cpanel is not yet fully supported and tested in Cloudlinux 7
I find this hard to believe.  I see a lot of people in here with CL7 setups.  How true is this?

Hello,

Although there are a few bugs and minor incidents, CL7 and cPanel work just fine. There are a lot of loops you have to jump through while getting the perfect config for yourself, but it is manageable (meaning you have to keep in mind the differences between EA3 -> EA4, Apache 2.2 -> Apache 2.4, etc., as new servers will install only the newest software).

Also, on their installation page, they show details about CentOS/Cloudlinux 7 recommendations:

https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/ALD/Installation+Guide+-+System+Requirements

On their blog there\'s a post from mid 2015 which shows support for CentOS/Cloudlinux 7.

Regards.
