Beta: New CL7 kernel released

CloudLinux 7 beta kernel (version 3.10.0-427.18.2.lve1.4.23.el7with Dirty COW and few other fixes is available from our updates-testing repository.

Changelog since 3.10.0-427.18.2.lve1.4.21:

  • fix for CVE-2016-5195;
  • CKSIX-87: fixed sysctl kernel.user_ptrace parameter work inside LVE;
  • fixed overlayfs work on ext4.

To install new kernel please use the following command:


yum install kernel-3.10.0-427.18.2.lve1.4.23.el7 kmod-lve-1.4-23.el7 --enablerepo=cloudlinux-updates-testing


Note. This update is recommended only for users that are already using beta kernel 3.10.0-427.18.2.lve1.4.21 and lower.
