Beta: MySQL Governor updated

New updated version of MySQL Governor is available from our updates-testing repository.


governor-mysql 1.2-1

  • fixed error in cloudlinux.version file for cPanel;
  • MYSQLG-128: added config file for db_governor monitoring via cPanel Service Manager (Chkservd);
  • MYSQLG-132: fixed incorrect behaviour on clean system after --delete;
  • MYSQLG-129: set default user status restricted produces duplicate in dbctl list
  • MYSQLG-122: using rpm -e instead of rpm -e --jusrdb to avoid accumulation a lot of file garbage;
  • MYSQLG-131: installation script uses systemd instead of /etc/init.d/mysql;
  • MYSQLG-126: added automatic removal of /var/run/mysql-governor-config.xml file with remove/downgrade;
  • MYSQLG-130: added UID to statistic file (end of each string).

Note that in new version installation of the packages starts only after confirmation:

[~]# /usr/share/lve/dbgovernor/ --install

If you need to install MySQL packages without confirmation - use the following command:

[~]# /usr/share/lve/dbgovernor/ --install --yes

To update run:

$ yum update governor-mysql --enablerepo=cloudlinux-updates-testing

$ service db_governor restart

To install run:

$ yum install governor-mysql --enablerepo=cloudlinux-updates-testing

$ /usr/share/lve/dbgovernor/ --install
