kernel_updated2

CloudLinux 7 and CloudLinux 6 Hybrid kernel version 3.10.0-962.3.2.lve1.5-25.10 is now available for download from our updates-testing repository.

Release note: this fix allows to see the real state of the MDS vulnerability and MDA mitigation should be applied correctly.

We strongly recommend you to upgrade your kernel to the latest version. This allows to switch on anti-MDS protection even if your current microcode is new enough.

To see the real state, use command:

# cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/vulnerabilities/mds

Changelog:

  • CLKRN-467: fixed MDS state reporting through sysfs.
