We are sorry to inform you that together with the latest stable CL kernel update (version 2.6.32-673.8.1.lve1.4.3) a bug has been revealed. Only few installations are affected so far, however it is recommended to update kmod-lve (version 1.4-3.1), which is available from our production repository. Details below.

Changelog:

kmod-lve-1.4-3.1

  • fixed deadlock in lve-kmod which was causing kernel panic.

To update run the command:

for CL7:

yum install kmod-lve-1.4-4.1.el7 kmod-lve-3.10.0-329.7.2.lve1.4.4.el7.x86_64-1.4-4.1.el7

for CL6:

yum install kmod-lve-1.4-3.1.el6 kmod-lve-2.6.32-673.8.1.lve1.4.3.el6.x86_64-1.4-3.1.el6

for CL5/Hybrid

yum install kmod-lve-1.4-3.1.el5h kmod-lve-2.6.32-673.8.1.lve1.4.3.el5h.x86_64-1.4-3.1.el5h

lve-utils updated
Ubuntu LTS kernels patches to latest version with ...
