Beta: alt-suexec updated

The new updated alt-suexec packages are available from our updates-testing repository. Based on httpd 2.2 for CloudLinux 5/6 and httpd 2.4 for CloudLinux 7, the package brings to the server a set of suexecs with different DOCUMENT ROOTs and MIN_UID/MIN_GID parameters.

The new versions of packages:

CloudLinux 5:

alt-suexec 2.2.3-78.5

CloudLinux 6:

alt-suexec 2.2.15-45.6, for httpd24 - alt-suexec 2.4.17-5.5

CloudLinux 7:

alt-suexec 2.4.6-31.el7_1.5

The new set of suexecs (with added USE_FSROOT):

USE_FSROOT - DOCUMENT ROOT / MIN_UID 500 MIN_GID 100 CALLER apache.

How to set up new suexec: 

switch_suexec -sUSE_FSROOT
restart apache

To install/update run the command:

yum install alt-suexec --enablerepo=cloudlinux-updates-testing

To update run the command:

yum update alt-suexec --enablerepo=cloudlinux-updates-testing

To install alt-suexec for httpd24 for CloudLinux 6:

yum install httpd24-alt-suexec --enablerepo=cloudlinux-updates-testing
CloudLinux 5 kernel updated
