New CloudLinux 7 kernel released to production

New CloudLinux 7 kernel (version 3.10.0-329.7.2.lve1.4.2.el7) is available from our production repository. 

Changelog since kernel-3.10.0-329.7.2.lve1.3.58.el7: 

  • fixed possible crash when trying to use namespace before creating it;
  • kernel integrity checks adapted to work with UEFI systems;
  • added ixgbe and e1000e kmods to kernel dependencies;
  • updated lve-kmod module to 1.4 version;
  • KMODLVE-24, CLKRN-19: fixed lve-kmod handling lve_leave and CL7 unknown crashes;
  • added debug improvements to simplify bugs investigation;
  • fixed CVE-2016-0728;
  • CLKRN-21: fixed CL7 crashes;
  • added ability for user with specified groupID to create {sym/hard}links with no restrictions. 

To install new kernel please run the following command: 

yum install kernel-3.10.0-329.7.2.lve1.4.2.el7 kmod-lve-1.4-2.el7 

Note. The CVE-2016-0728 is already patched by KernelCare. You don't need to update, if you running KernelCare.
