CloudLinux Releases Imunify360 4.0 to Production with New Features

CloudLinux, providers of the most popular web hosting platform, take pride in announcing the 4.0 production release of their flagship Linux security product, Imunify360.

Imunify360 is the all-inclusive, comprehensive security solution that helps protect Linux web servers against many kinds of cyber attack.

Because no single technology can protect against sophisticated and coordinated cyber attacks, Imunify360 implements a multi-layer security model. In this model, many components work together, each optimized for and specializing in a particular attack vector. These components work together, combining to form a synergistic cyber defense functionality that is more effective than individual layer solutions can offer.

Web hosters and Linux server managers worldwide are choosing Imunify360 for its ability to completely protect web servers and websites from persistent and varied attacks by threat agents. It blends the strength and resilience of tried-and-tested defense methods, such as firewall, WAF, IDS and IPS, with advanced machine learning techniques for dynamic rule and signature creation, herd immunity, where Imunify360 instances share threat intelligence information among one another, forming a web of cyber threat knowledge greater than the sum of its parts.

This production release includes better user feature management for cPanel users, giving them greater flexibility in creating attractive service plans and packages. There is a new vulnerability statistics dashboard that provides a graphical overview of when attacks were blocked and where they came from. Bar charts record attack frequencies plotted on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. A world map indicates the size and origin of attack attempts. 'The Blamer' is a new extension for Proactive Defense that tracks and explains the origin of a malware infection. Other Imunify360 instances can optionally share this information, improving the overall attack detection success rate and reducing false positives.
